How to exercise on Rotatio

What is Rotatio training (how does it work)?

ROTATIO is a simple and safe way to engage in daily physical activity for every age group – from children, through adults, to seniors. The training involves performing natural, twisting movements of the torso in a standing position, which engage the muscles responsible for correct posture, balance and coordination.
With ROTATIO, you strengthen the muscles that stabilize the spine and improve your overall fitness. The exercises are easy to perform, do not require much strength or special preparation, and are a lot of fun. It is a great way to diversify your daily activity - both for children who need movement and fun, and for seniors who want to stay fit and healthy.
You can train with ROTATIO at home, at school, at work or in a rehabilitation facility – wherever you want to take care of your body and well-being.

Who is Rotatio training recommended for?

Training on ROTATIO is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. We especially recommend it:
-For children who need active play and support for muscle development and coordination.
-Seniors for whom it is important to strengthen the muscles that stabilize posture, improve balance and maintain fitness.
-For adults who want to diversify their daily activities and take care of the health of their muscles and spine.
-For patients in rehabilitation, as a safe and effective supplement to exercise.

ROTATIO is easy to use, does not require any special fitness or experience, so it is suitable for use at home, at school, in a sports club or at a healthcare facility.

What muscle groups are worked during Rotatio exercises?

The simplicity of the ROTATIO training set means that during exercise, the muscles of the shoulder girdle are strengthened first. Proper stretching of the bands allows you to choose the right load according to the individual needs of the exerciser. Maintaining the discs in rotation activates the deep muscles, the stabilizers of the body's posture. Additionally, the exerciser can perform torso twists during training, thereby also activating the oblique abdominal muscles.

How is training with Rotatio different from training with regular resistance bands?

The fundamental element that differentiates the ROTATIO set is the activation of deep muscles to perform the exercise. Training on regular resistance bands gives a lot of possibilities to conduct movement with variable resistance. For this reason, different types of bands are used during strength training to increase the intensity of exercises or diversify the movement, but this requires the purchase and differentiation of different types of bands. Training on the ROTATIO set requires mastering subsequent elements of performing the movement, setting both discs in rotation requires concentration in itself and shapes the eye-hand coordination of the exercisers. In turn, maintaining the rotational movement of the discs forces the tension of the deep muscles, providing a basis for maintaining the correct body posture.

Can Rotatio exercises be recommended for people aged 60+ (seniors)?

These exercises can be performed by people aged 10 to 70, but with sufficiently developed hand-eye coordination. For older people, these exercises can be a useful model for undertaking physical activity. Moderate physical activity will have a beneficial effect on the digestive system, improve peristalsis and relieve constipation problems. It increases resistance to infections. Regular physical activity increases the sensitivity of cells to insulin and reduces the risk of diabetes. The composition of blood lipids improves, the concentration of LDL, or bad cholesterol, decreases, and the concentration of HDL, or good cholesterol, becomes higher.
A daily 30-minute portion of exercise helps maintain intellectual fitness and improves mood, as well as makes it easier to fall asleep.
